What you will build in 2 days

Example: an agent that receives a request, uses tools, updates data, and sends the result back automatically.

  • An AI agent that does useful work

A practical agent in n8n that can receive input, use tools, make decisions, and complete a real task.

    • chat or form input
    • tool use and routing
    • memory or context where needed

    Result

You have an agent you can run, test, and improve

  • An automated workflow

A workflow that moves data between services and removes repetitive manual work.

    • triggers and actions
    • API calls, webhooks, and integrations
    • error handling and retries

    Result

You save time on a process that used to be manual

  • A backend layer for your product

A simple backend logic layer in n8n for forms, notifications, enrichment, sync, or other product operations.

    • receive events from your app
    • process data in the background
    • send outputs to users or other tools

    Result

You understand how to use n8n not only for automation, but also as part of a product backend

What do you end up with?

  • School supportOne month after the workshop(we'll cover 3 questions)
  • A working n8n setup
  • At least one useful agent or workflow
  • A clearer understanding of how to automate your own processes
  • The hardest setup and logic questions behind you
  • A practical next-step plan
  • Networking with peers

Who it's for

  • You want to automate real work, not just experiment with AI tools

  • You have repetitive workflows and want to stop doing them manually

  • You want to use n8n for agents, operations, or backend logic in your product

  • Baseline: confident computer user, comfortable installing apps and connecting accounts

Program

Day 1

Goal for the day: first working workflow by 5:00 p.m.

Checkpoint: short standup or ~10 minutes per person.

  1. What n8n is, where it fits, and what we are building
  2. Set up workspace, accounts, credentials, and first connections
  3. Triggers, actions, nodes, and data flow in plain language
  4. Build the first useful workflow
  5. Evening checkpoint: what exactly should your automation or agent do

Day 2

Goal for the day: demo-ready workflow or agent by 4:30 p.m.

  1. Build agent logic or more advanced workflow logic
  2. Use tools, APIs, webhooks, and external services
  3. Add reliability: conditions, validation, retries, and fallback logic
  4. Use n8n as backend logic for a product or internal process
  5. Final demo, cleanup, and next-week plan

The schedule may shift slightly depending on participants' projects.

Why me

Dmitry Stepkin

I build practical automations and product workflows myself, and I explain them in a way that makes sense to non-technical people.

  • I focus on real use cases, not theory for theory's sake
  • I help you build something that actually works in your process or product
  • I know how to simplify technical choices so you can move faster

FAQ

  • No. The workshop is built for people without an IT background. We focus on what you need to build and use, not on unnecessary theory.
  • A working workflow, or an agent with one useful scenario, plus a clear setup you can continue after the workshop.
  • Yes. Bring one process you want to automate, or one simple use case where n8n can act as your backend logic.
  • Yes. If your use case needs it, we will cover how agents work in n8n, how they use tools, and where they are useful in practice.
  • No. You can use n8n both for internal workflows and as part of a product backend.
  • We reduce scope to something realistic and useful. The goal is a working result, not a perfect system.
  • Not necessarily. Depending on the project, we can start with the simplest setup and decide later whether self-hosting is needed.
  • It depends on your task, but common examples are email, Telegram, Slack, Google Sheets, Notion, APIs, and AI models.
  • No. This is an offline build format. You come to build, test, and leave with something working.
  • Payment is by card or bank transfer. An invoice from the Finnish company (Oy) will be available.
